Security Seminar
Topic: Vehicle as a Weapon
Date: June 14th, 2019 Friday
Dear ASIS Hong Kong Chapter Friends,
You are invited to attend a security seminar about how threat sources are using vehicle as a weapon and what mitigations are available.
The way that vehicle attacks are being carried out is changing. Extensive counter-terrorism policing and intelligence efforts are seeing terrorists turn away from improvised vehicle bombs and resort to directly using Vehicles as Weapons with shocking and extreme effect as has been seen in France, Germany, United Kingdom and East Asia. This increasingly prevalent threat vector requires security and risk management professionals to reassess their security postures and understand their exposure.
